 222广州生产力促进中心是以广州市科技信息研究所、广州市计算机应用研究所、广州市新技术应用研究所、广州市科技实业总公司为基础组建的事业单位。中心是广东省科技厅认定的三个省级科技查新咨询机构之一，是广州市甲级信息咨询服务企业，是国家统计局认定的具有涉外社会调查活动资格的机构，2000年又被科技部确立为国家级示范生产力促进中心。目前中心已成为广州地区从事信息与咨询服务最具实力和权威性的科技中介机构。 中心的业务领域正在逐步形成“信息服务、技术服务及培训服务”三大服务体系，为全社会、为企业，特别是中小企业，提供高质量、全方位、多功能的服务。  222 信息服务：广州市科技信息网（www.gzst.net.cn）网络服务、决策咨询研究、市场调查、科技评估、科技查新、科技型中小企业创新基金申报、翻译。 22 技术服务：化工新产品、新技术的研究、开发与推广；CAD/CAM信息化工程的推广工作；产品质量自动检测技术及其设备的研制和推广，其中包括电量和非电量检测、在线和非在线检测。 22 培训服务：为提升企业生产力水平，开展各种高层次培训。 为了构建广州市科技创新体系，为地区科技和产业发展提供优质的服务，提升地区的生产力水平，为科技经济发展提供动力，中心正建设现代制造工程中心、多媒体应用开放式实验室、黄埔化工中试基地等设施。 22 中心自1998年成立以来，为广州市各级企事、业单位提供信息、技术与培训等各类服务600多项，服务企、事业单位计1000多家，大力加强与大专院校、科研单位等社会各界的联系与交流。2001年度，投资1000多万元的广州市科技信息网络顺利通过鉴定并开始运行，随着网络建设的不断完善、信息量的不断扩大中心将进一步增强为社会提供信息服务的功能；建立了广州市专家数据库，将进一步促进中心与社会的联系；承接并完成的《广州市工业化与信息化发展实证研究》、《广州市科技评估发展研究》、《加入WTO对高新技术产业发展的影响和对策研究》等多项科研课题为广州市政府制定各项政策提供了决策依据；开展的科技计划项目立项评估业务促进了广州市科技计划项目的科学化管理；市场调查业务保持了良好的增长势头，截止到三季度家电、通讯产品零售等市场调查业务又上了一个新的台阶；多功能、全方位的业务拓展为中心创造了较好的经济和社会效益。几年来，中心工作受到了各级政府部门的肯定，获得各类科技奖项共19项（次）。  地址：广州市下塘西路37号 邮编：510091 电话：（020）83571221、83571566 传真；（020）83592242 电子邮箱： gzpcywb@gzst.net.cn 网址：www.gzst.net.cn |

  22 Guangzhou Productivity Promotion Center is a non-governmental institution established on the basis of Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Information Research Institute, Guangzhou Computer Application Research Institute, Guangzhou New Technology Application Research Institute, and Guangzhou Science and Technology Property Corporation. It is one of the three provincial level science and technology retrieval and advisory service institutions in the province as recognized by Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology. It is also a first grade information advisory service enterprise in Guangzhou City, and an institution 22 authorized by State Statistical Bureau with certificate for foreign related social investigation activities. In 2000, MOST listed it as a State-level Model PPC. At present, it has been developed into a most powerful and authoritative scientific and technological intermediate service institution in Guangzhou area engaged in information and advisory services. To date, the center is gradually building up three major service systems of information, technology and training service. It provides quality, diversified and multi-functioning services to the society and enterprises, particularly SMEs.
 22 Training service: Sponsoring various high level training courses to promote enterprise productivity. The center is now busy constructing the Modern Manufacture Engineering Center, Multi-Media Application Open Lab, and Huangpu Petrochemical Pilot-plant Experiment Base, in a bid to construct a new system of scientific and technological innovation in Guangzhou, provide quality services to regional scientific and technological and industrial development, upgrade productivity standards in the area, and activate scientific, technological and economic development in the city. Main Achievements Since its establishment in 1998, the center has provided over 600 items of information, technology and training services to over 1,000 enterprises and institutions in the city, and intensified relations and communications with colleges, universities and research institutions in the society. In 2001, the Guangzhou Scientific and Technological Information Network, with over 10 million yuan investment from the center, smoothly passed through evaluation and started for operation. With gradual improvement of network construction and increased information supply, the center will continue to intensify its performance of delivering information to the society. It has set up the Guangzhou expert database, which draws the center closer to the society. It undertook and accomplished a number of research subjects, including Practical Research of the Development of Industrialization and Informatization in Guangzhou, Research of the Development of Scientific and Technological Evaluation in Guangzhou, and Research of Impacts of China's WTO Accession on Hi-Tech Industries and Corresponding Strategies, which offered basis for Guangzhou Municipal Government to make policies. The business of evaluating scientific and technological project establishment has accelerated scientific management of technological planning projects in the city. And the market investigation business maintains fine increase tendency. By the end of the third quarter of 2001, the market investigation business of retail sales of household appliances and telecommunications products had stepped upon a new stage. Business exploration in the direction of multi-functions and multi-directions has created comparatively fine economic and social benefits for the center. In recent years, the center has been highly confirmed by governmental organs at various levels, winning a total of 19 scientific and technological prizes.
