	22Established in November 1997 under the former SSTC and Ministry of Construction(MOC), Productivity Promotion Center of Building Industry is based upon China Building Science Academy. In February 2001, MOST listed it as a State-level Model PPC. 22The center applies its technological strengths and resource advantages and the information network system of the State Engineering Technology Research Center to launch technological and information services. Of this, the most striking are the transfer and services of various series of software, benefiting the most small and medium-sized building designing units. 22In terms of personnel training, it has sponsored in over ten cities large-scaled policy-oriented new technology symposiums, mainly participated by enterprise executives, with 1,500 participants. And it held eight technician-oriented training courses for quality-structured buildings and familiarizing with project construction standards and regulations, with 800 participants.
