  wwwEstablished in 1994, Shandong Yatai Productivity Promotion Center has six branch units, which are the general office, information development dept., consultation and diagnosis dept., training dept., pilot plant testing dept., and international cooperation dept.. The center now has 5,000 m2 of floor space, nearly 10 million yuan total assets, and 63 staff members, including 80%t with senior or medium-graded technical titles. It is one of the first group of State-level Model PPCs listed by the former SSTC. wwwThe center is mainly engaged in the following sectors of services: information service, computer network engineering, software development, science and technology results communication and transformation, promotion and popularization of general technologies of CAD/CAM systems and industrial designs, enterprise incubation, enterprise consultation and diagnosis, and professional training. With the development of market economy and the arrival of intellect economy age, the center sticks to the spirit of "innovative, diligent, practical and efficient", to build up its images and intensify its qualities, so as to provide SMEs with diversified quality services.  wwwPersonnel training: The center has modernized education and training facilities of PC room, audio-visual room and analogue account room, fit for sponsoring various technological training, educational level training and senior management training courses. It is the only ATC authentication training center authorized by Microsoft in Shandong Province. In 2000, according to agreements between the Chinese and Japanese governments, it succeeded in sponsoring the Sino-Japanese JICA SME Senior Executive Training Course. In recent years, it takes the market needs as the orientation, and has trained a total of nearly 10,000 personnel. www Information Services: The center works with local colleges, universities and research institutions to build up dynamic information database and expert database, equipped with advanced and improved information network. It is capable of providing information services to SMEs in the fields of science and technology, economy, policy and laws and regulations, market demands and personnel resources. www Enterprise Consultation and diagnosis: To date, the center has set up close relations with more than 200 enterprises and provided some of the key enterprises systematized services, including management improvement, ISO9000 quality system authentication, industrial design & CAD technology promotion, SME innovation funds application, marketing planning, and development forecast. It has assisted numerous enterprises promoting their management standards and innovation capability. www Enterprise Incubation: In the technological field that receives top priority from the state and local governments, the center works with colleges, universities and research institutions to guide and support technological professionals establishing technological oriented SMEs, and assist local governments to accelerate industrial restructure and industrial upgrading. So far, it has succeeded in incubating over 20 enterprises, some of which have become pioneering technological enterprises in local places.
